SHACMAN’s odyssey commenced under the name Shaanxi Automobile Plant. Originating in a modest facility nestled within a mountain valley, approximately 160 kilometers from Xi’an, our inception marked the start of an enduring legacy.

In 1974, our company achieved a significant milestone by launching the SX250, the first heavy-duty off-road vehicle in China to be developed with entirely independent intellectual property rights. This pioneering truck was recognized for its innovation with a Chinese Science Congress Award in 1978.

1978 was marked as a historic achievement in the Chinese automotive industry with the introduction of the SX161, the first domestically manufactured commercial cargo truck capable of carrying over 12 tons. This vehicle not only set a precedent in terms of capacity but also demonstrated our commitment to pioneering advancements in commercial transportation.

In 1985, SHACMAN heralded a new era in the Chinese automotive industry with the inaugural production of Steyr heavy-duty trucks. This pivotal moment signified a transformative shift, addressing the previous ‘lack of capacity’ issue in the sector. Following this, we elevated Steyr technology to new heights, culminating in the introduction of the Aolong product series.

Building upon the robust foundation of the classic F2000 series, SHACMAN has launched the F3000 series, a testament to our relentless pursuit of excellence. The F3000 series, introduced in 2009, represents a significant evolution with substantial enhancements in quality, comfort, and reliability.
