The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) recently announced the list of Excellence-level Smart Factory projects for 2025. Shaanxi Automobile’s “Digitally Empowered New Energy Commercial Vehicle Frame Manufacturing Smart Factory” was successfully selected.

The Excellence-level Smart Factory initiative is part of the Smart Factory Gradual Development Campaign, jointly launched by the MIIT and five other ministries. By focusing on digital transformation, networked collaboration, and intelligent upgrades, the project aims to create a leading national smart manufacturing benchmark factory. This designation marks Shaanxi Automobile’s successful entry into the “national team” Excellence-level ranks in the digital and intelligent transformation and development race, demonstrating the company’s continuous improvement and breakthroughs in smart manufacturing.

Shaanxi Automobile’s New Energy Frame Smart Factory utilizes innovative integrated roll-forming technology for commercial vehicle frame rails, integrating cutting-edge processes and AI technologies such as green and low-carbon development, big data, and smart logistics. The entire production process is centrally managed by a single “data brain,” enabling digital management of the entire vehicle lifecycle, from order placement to vehicle roll-off. The highly automated and flexible production line accommodates multiple vehicle platforms, easily adapting to future product iterations and diversifying market demands. The AI ​​visual inspection system provides full-process quality traceability, ensuring traceability of every component and every process, ensuring ultimate product reliability and safety.
