Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology officially announced the list of green factories and green industrial parks for 2025. Wanfang Tianyun Auto Parts Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Wanfang Tianyun”), a subsidiary of Shaanxi Automobile Group, was successfully selected as a national-level green factory due to its outstanding performance in green production, low-carbon manufacturing, and environmental governance. This honor not only highly recognizes Wanfang Tianyun’s green manufacturing capabilities but also signifies that Shaanxi Automobile Group has added another national-level benchmark in the field of green manufacturing system construction, further affirming its green development strength at the national level. To date, Shaanxi Automobile Group has successfully cultivated five national-level green factories: Shaanxi Heavy Duty Truck, Hande Axle, Huainan Special Vehicle, Wanfang Tianyun, and Hande Gear, forming a green manufacturing cluster covering complete vehicle manufacturing, core component production, and special vehicle R&D. The cluster effect of green development continues to stand out, setting a model for the green transformation of the commercial vehicle industry.

Taking Wanfang Tianyun, one of the selected companies, as an example, the company focuses on green manufacturing of automotive components, comprehensively implementing energy-saving and consumption-reducing measures in the production process, optimizing raw material procurement and use, prioritizing the use of environmentally friendly and recyclable raw materials, and reducing resource waste. Simultaneously, it has established a waste resource recycling system, classifying and recycling waste materials such as scraps and waste oil generated during production, turning waste into treasure and significantly improving resource utilization efficiency.
