Shaanxi Automobile Holding's hydrogen fuel cell sanitation vehicles were delivered in batches to Fangshan District, Beijing.

According to Shaanxi State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, Shaanxi Automobile Holding’s subsidiary, Proton Automotive, recently delivered 20 hydrogen fuel cell sanitation vehicles to Dechuang Environment, which have been officially put into use in Fangshan District, Beijing. This delivery marks the first batch deployment of hydrogen fuel cell chassis sanitation vehicles in the region.

These vehicles possess three core advantages: heavy-duty adaptability, efficient refueling, and long range. A single hydrogen refueling takes only about 10 minutes, and the range under actual working conditions exceeds 400 kilometers, covering cross-regional transfer scenarios. Their operating time is increased by more than 70% compared to pure electric models, effectively reducing vehicle downtime. Simultaneously, the vehicles are equipped with metamaterial mufflers customized and developed by Dechuang Future, a component that reduces weight by more than 60% compared to traditional mufflers.

As an important area for hydrogen energy demonstration in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, Fangshan District in Beijing is accelerating the iterative upgrading of sanitation equipment. These hydrogen fuel cell sanitation vehicles, with their zero emissions, low noise, and high adaptability, will further improve the efficiency of garbage transfer throughout the district and reduce operating costs. Currently, Dechuang Environment has become one of the main chassis suppliers for Yingfeng Environment (000967) and New Energy (850101), with its monthly chassis supply exceeding 100 units.

In the future, Shaanxi Automobile Holding Dechuang will continue to deepen the research and development and application of hydrogen fuel cell technology, creating sustainable environmental value for the green transformation of the transportation sector.
