The SHACMAN X5000 8×4 Flatbed Cargo Truck is a robust and highly versatile heavy-duty commercial vehicle designed to meet the rigorous demands of modern logistics, construction, and industrial transport. Built on the proven X5000 heavy-truck platform (Model: SX1319XD456F1), this truck combines exceptional load-bearing capabilities with a flexible open-deck design. With a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 31,000 kg, a massive 9.5-metre flatbed, and a rated payload of approximately 16.9 tonnes, it is purpose-engineered for hauling heavy, oversized, or irregularly shaped cargo over long distances and challenging terrains.
The truck is built on a highly resilient 850 × 300 mm (single 8) high-strength steel chassis frame, reinforced to withstand twisting forces and heavy impacts. It features a heavy-duty multi-leaf spring suspension system (14/14/12 configuration) and a robust axle setup: a 6,500 kg front axle and an 18,000 kg rear axle group. Riding on twelve heavy-duty 12R22.5 18PR tyres, the truck provides excellent stability and grip. A large 700 L aluminium alloy fuel tank extends operational range, reducing downtime on long-haul routes.
The centerpiece is the 9,500 × 2,450 × 600 mm flatbed. The 600 mm drop-side boards provide a secure barrier for bulk materials while allowing easy side-loading.
The X5000 extended flat-floor cab (half-panel sleeper layout) is engineered with driver comfort in mind, making it ideal for two-driver long-haul operations. The spacious interior seats two occupants and features a premium air-suspension driver’s seat, automatic climate control, a multi-function steering wheel, cruise control, electric windows, and a 4G smart connectivity screen for modern fleet management. The sleeper section includes a rest bunk for extended trips. Optional configurations include a 360° surround-view camera system, ventilated/heated seats, and an aluminium front axle for weight reduction.
