SHACMAN X9 4.05-Metre Refrigerated Van (SX5040XLCGP5) is a light-duty cold-chain transport vehicle built on SHACMAN’s proven X9 chassis platform. It is purpose-engineered for the safe delivery of temperature-sensitive goods—including fresh food, frozen meat, dairy, seafood, fruits, vegetables, and pharmaceuticals—across urban and regional distribution networks.
The insulated cargo box is constructed with an 8 cm polyurethane foam core, framed by galvanized pipe and finished with 304 stainless steel corner profiles and thickened aluminum edging. This build delivers fast cooling, slow heat dissipation, and reliable temperature retention inside the box.
The refrigeration system supports recognized units such as Thermo King (e.g., 580 PLUS) or equivalent domestic brands, achieving temperatures as low as −18°C for deep-freeze logistics. For lighter applications, an optional 3–5 ton unit provides a temperature range of −5°C to +15°C, with manual control accessible from the cab.
The X9 cab accommodates three occupants and is equipped with air conditioning, electric windows, and a radio as standard comfort features. Safety equipment includes ABS (ZQFB-V) and a rear underrun protection bar rated at 400 mm ground clearance. The vehicle complies with China V / Euro V emission standards, making it suitable for markets with Euro V regulatory requirements.
With a 4.05-metre body and a rated payload of 1.1 tonnes, the SX5040XLCGP5 is positioned for last-mile and regional cold-chain distribution: fresh produce delivery to supermarkets and wet markets, frozen goods distribution to retail outlets, dairy and seafood transport, and temperature-controlled pharmaceutical logistics where a compact, maneuverable reefer van is required.
