SHACMAN was founded in 1968, initially producing heavy-duty military trucks for the Chinese armed forces, and holds a 95 per cent share of the Chinese military heavy-duty truck market. In June 2026, SHACMAN’s East African dealership was grandly inaugurated in Arusha, Tanzania, with the country’s current Prime Minister, Mwigulu Nchimba, attending in person to cut the ribbon and witness the handover of vehicles –12–35. Furthermore, CFAO Mobility Tanzania has officially become SHACMAN’s authorised dealer in Tanzania. The Mansour Group also became an authorised SHACMAN dealer in June 2026 and plans to establish a truck assembly plant in Tanzania, with an investment of US$30 million. These initiatives have significantly enhanced SHACMAN’s brand influence and service capabilities in the Tanzanian market.

2. SHACMAN X3000 Series
The X3000 is SHACMAN’s high-end long-haul logistics series, powered by Cummins engines (420–450 horsepower) and designed specifically for heavy-duty long-haul transport. This series is widely used on long-haul cross-border routes in Tanzania.
