The Shaanxi Automobile Group exhibition area attracted a large number of visitors.
On 23 May, the Xi’an International Convention and Exhibition Centre was bustling with activity as a steady stream of business delegates arrived. The 10th Silk Road Expo featured highlights across all its exhibition zones. In the Intelligent Automotive Manufacturing Zone, the Shaanxi Automobile Group exhibition stand became the centre of attention thanks to its cutting-edge smart heavy-duty trucks, comprehensive full-chain supporting products and impressive digital achievements. A constant stream of visitors and industry professionals stopped to enquire and discuss potential collaborations.
This edition of the Silk Road Expo has provided an excellent platform for industrial collaboration between eastern and western regions and for economic and trade connectivity along the Silk Road. As a leading enterprise in Shaanxi’s automotive industry chain, Shaanxi Automobile has moved away from a single-product exhibition model. Instead, it has joined forces with several specialised, innovative and high-tech enterprises along the industry chain to make a collective appearance, creating an immersive display that integrates complete vehicles, core components and intelligent manufacturing equipment. This allows visiting merchants to gain a first-hand understanding of Shaanxi Automobile’s end-to-end intelligent manufacturing capabilities.
In the centre of the stand, the Shacman Delong X6000 heavy-duty truck, with its rugged industrial design and high-end specifications tailored for cross-border long-haul transport, attracted numerous logistics companies to come and experience it first-hand. Adjacent to the exhibition area, Proton’s Ziling intelligent driving vehicle exuded a strong sense of technological sophistication, with cutting-edge smart connectivity and new energy technologies presented in a visually striking manner, challenging the public’s perception of traditional commercial vehicles. From Xi’an Cummins natural gas engines and Hand Electric drive axles to Zhide electronic control systems and new energy supporting components, exhibits of all sizes were arranged in an orderly manner, forming a seamless interconnection that comprehensively illustrated Shaanxi Automobile’s self-reliant and controllable automotive industrial ecosystem.
“We have brought our entire team to this exhibition to showcase our core achievements across the entire supply chain. Whether it be complete vehicles and machinery, core supporting components, or digitalised intelligent systems, all have been independently developed and locally sourced to precisely meet the diverse needs of long-distance transport, complex road conditions and green, low-carbon development along the Silk Road.” According to staff at the exhibition stand, leveraging the Silk Road Expo as a window to the outside world, Shaanxi Automobile is focusing on showcasing its achievements in new energy and intelligent transformation. The company is fully committed to promoting ‘Shaanxi Smart Manufacturing’ to the Silk Road market, helping local equipment and products go global and facilitate trade along the Silk Road.
At the bustling exhibition venue, the allure of technology-empowered smart manufacturing is evident everywhere. Leveraging the International Cooperation and Exchange Activities on the Digital Economy, Shaanxi Automobile has centred its presentation on the theme “Data as the Foundation, Smart Manufacturing: Shaanxi Automobile Driving the Future”, demonstrating cutting-edge equipment such as smart cockpits, visual inspection systems for paint defects, and smart driving recorders. Staff operated digital platforms in real time, dynamically showcasing the entire business chain of data collection, transmission and application. These clear and intuitive digital application scenarios allowed visiting audiences to gain a tangible sense of the digital and intelligent transformation of traditional manufacturing.
